Winter Leadership
On January 27, 2018, the BYU area RHA councils from Helaman, Heritage, and Wyview got together for some leadership training and fun. Training topics included discussing Liz Wiseman's ideas on Multipliers and Diminishers, Life Balance, Recognition (OTMs), and Brainstorming.
The councils then headed over to Provo Beach Resort and had a lot of fun participating in the ropes course, bowling, laser tag, arcade games, and a carousel. We wrapped up with a delicious meal and some final training on ways to continue in residence life after a year of being on the RHA council--complete with cotton candy.
This is such a good group of people. I am constantly amazed at how thoughtful they are of one another, and of those around them. I am grateful for their leadership in their communities while living on campus at BYU. I am filled with hope and optimism for the future as I contemplate all that they will accomplish in their communities throughout the rest of their lives.
